One day when I came back from school,Iwas very tired.I put my school bag beside my studydesk.I noticed a book on my desk.It had a red and gold cover, with a funny face on it.The word "Chocolate"caught my eye.I simply love chocolates.I can eat chocolates any time of the day.I picked up the book.The title was "Charlie and the chocolate factory" written by 'Roald Dahl'.I remembered my brother telling me that he was a very interesting writer and I wondered who put the book on my desk.I thought that I could never read books and this book had 155 pages!WOW!"I can't read all these pages"I thought to myself.But then I turned the frount cover and saw the "Golden ticket".What it said on the Golden ticket was :"Greetings to you,the lucky finder of this Golden Ticket,from Mr Willy Wonka________________________"It was a ticket was visiting his famous chocolate factory.This immediately hooked me onto the book.I sat down on my desk and started reading it.It's beginning was very interesting.It was about a boy Charlie who found the last Golden Ticket to visit Mr.Willy Wonka's chocolate factory.
Suddenly,I heard my mother's voice calling me for lunch and I realized that I hadn't even changed out my school uniform!.Luckily,it was friday,the beginning of the weekend.I was so hooked onto the book that I finished it before the weekend was over!.From that day onwards,whenever I find an interesting book to read,I can never put it down till I finish it!
